We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Acoustics Team. We are offering an excellent personal development opportunity therefore you must be willing to develop your technical and managerial skills across the acoustics range.

You will be an ambitious individual who will join us at an exciting stage in our expansion to assist in the development of our existing team across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, rail, highways and other emerging areas of operation.

The individual we seek will have a good level of IT competence and will have several years of experience in an environmental acoustics role. Relevant acoustic qualifications will be beneficial though not essential. Use of noise modelling software Cadna, or similar, is essential.

Experience with Post Completion Building Acoustics and Air Quality would be a bonus but not essential.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Management of certain projects under the overall direction of the Line Manager as appropriate.
  • Regular communication with Line Managers, and/or Clients as appropriate to keep them up to date with the progress, status, and findings of all project work.
  • Undertaking noise surveys across a variety of locations across the UK.
  • Timely and accurate response to all client enquiries
  • Communication with the Line Manager at all times to keep them up to date with new proposals, enquiries, projects, and related matters.
  • Timely delivery of projects in line with agreed project programmes and budgets.
  • Timely raising of invoices in line with agreed project invoicing profile to manage overall WIP.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2 Years+ experience in a similar environmental acoustics role.
  • Environmental Degree (beneficial but not essential).
  • Institute of Acoustics membership (beneficial but not essential).
  • Excellent Excel/Word/IT skills.
  • A full clean driving licence is required.

  • Client/Contractor facing so good interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude with an aptitude to developing knowledge.
  • Good Judgement skills with confidence to question irregularities.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team.
