Noise Impact Assessments

We can produce noise impact assessments on a range of projects to assist with planning applications across the UK.

A noise impact assessment consists of a series of detailed surveys and are often a planning requirement requested by local authorities. The assessments are used to determine the affect a development will have on surrounding noise levels and to determine if future occupants of the development will be exposed to unsafe noise levels.

Typically, a noise impact assessment will asses the existing noise sources (from nearby train lines, roads, industrial noise etc) and compare it to predicted noise levels generated by the development.

Omnia’s acoustic consultants have experience providing noise impact assessments on a range of projects across different sectors. This includes on residential, commercial and industrial projects.
